A new section of our site to be done for next year 2010. We help so many blokes and girls build their own buses at home, either by suppling parts or doing rust repairs or setting up suspension gear or maybe just advice. What ever the case, I thought its might be time to share some of the collection of photos I get sent to me of DYI projects.

Not are we always happy to see a 72 as a DYI set of gates, but, this one does look like it had been driven by feel for a while before it became a set of gates.

Kimm Garland (the Chief's) 3.8ltr Supercharged Crew Cab Anyone not heard about this one? Water Cooled V6 and V8 buses come and go, todays show attraction and tommorrows memory. The Chief's bus is still here, still tearing up and down Blaxland Hill every day with legendary reliability and power, all day every day. It's proof that water cooled can be a long term proposition - when done right!

Started back in 1990 was this beaut 1969 Type III Square Back, a labour of love, one of the most enjoyable projekts. Every Dad should have one.

Guy own's "Sydney Split Screens" a service for that big day. This is another one for his collection.

Royces Roller, a rare as rockin horse shit 1968 Baywindow Bus.

Every now and again we get a couple of clowns in here... who would have guessed.

With the initials plastered on the front Van-winkle seemed the obvious nick name for this ole bus that was last registered 25 years ago nearly to the day.

Aarons 15 window sweetheart.

Every now and again, we get a customer that really loves his car. Love to play with it, and enjoys the improvements of after market goodies. Now some ladies might not get that, buts its a bloke thing. And we dont might having a play with it as well.

Yes, thats day light you can see through the right hand cargo wall, you know the old saying, one mans treasure.

A few months back we got a phone call from a guy after my own heart, I had to laugh. This guy is a grown up, probably as old as me even and still has the urge to play.

Mitch brought this early beetle to us as it is and asked to have it lowered..... yeah lowered..

This is the ride height it arrived with. It had some issues.. but we sorted it all out and actually got it lower and drivable.

Back to the future - 1965 Crew Cab Jason McCombie ... with a name like that there really is only one choice of ride. Jason has been through a few rough years back is now the proud owner, once again of his 65 crew cab.

For those of you that collect toy kombis, a collection of baywindow buses of various scales and brands are on their way.

Also a collection of many differant brands of split screen toys are on their way as well.

This is just the beginning, stay tuned for more to come.

Volkswagen and Hot Rods are not usually spoken of in the same sentence except at the Blue Dogs House.

This would probably be the first Australian Hot Rod Beetle.
