Schuco this is the original German brand Schuco, not the Schuco that is available today. 1/60th scale.

German made SIKU with sliding cargo door. Rare variation 1/64th scale.

Made in Japan, Tomico, another rare item available in many colors. 1/64th scale. Right hand drive you may note.

Most diecast toys are all cast left hand drive.

Made in Japan, Zylmex a left hand driver version. and a very rare bus to find. 1/64th scale.

These are Tin and the scale of the 2 utes in the fore ground are 1/43rd scale.

Back to the smaller scale of 64th scale, this is the new casting from matchbox available in dept stores around australia as from April 2008.

Back to Hot Wheels, this is a Pink Ute or Pickup as the Americans call them. As you will see, its a cut down version of the Famous Beach Bomb. Not their best afford, more like a grab at a quick quid, they got my dough.

While on the subject of Beach Bombs, some very early castings of a rear loader and a pair of side loaders.

Back to the larger scale of 43rd scale, these are from Schuco, the malteze ambo and a fire crew cab both around 68 to 70 vintage, excellent detail.

Not a great casting but Ultra rare model and the one and only 1972 casting, a low light with a big engine bay, its just a shame about the rear side window, it a little too large for realism. But I suffer it gladdly. This one came from a mate in Holland Henk Hendriks, its a favorite.

Schuco have released a larger scale 69 to 70 bay ute, I have it here but just dont have any photos of it as yet, but magic detail and well worth a look.
