Established in 1966. About the same time some folks VWs we're born, so we reckon it's worth mentioning, as there are about 81,000 working man hours of experience, good times and challenges since Indian opened. We think we know our stuff.
We still service and repair Air Cooled and Water Cooled Volkswagens as well as supplying a huge range of standard, new old stock and custom parts to suit the needs of customers in the western suburbs and the blue mountains.
We specilise in designing and building Volkswagens to customers specifications, and stock a range of goodies to make those dreams a reality. From stock standard to volks-rod custom, and pride ourselves on quality and reliabililty. We know some folks buy on price alone, and that's fine. Indian customers are price conscious, but also know that doing it the wrong way or not the right way is false economy. Maybe that why we get plenty of ex-other shop customers. Maybe it's the people, the coffee or the fact we're close to the M4 and Kingswood Rail.

We service and maintain all late model Golfs, New Beetles, Transporters, Passats and Polos. We have the latest Diagnostic Equipment allowing us to maintain all the newer models. We service and repair all sorts of VWs (check out our non-bus stories), and pride ourselves on being able to get the right parts and 'bits' each customer needs, new or secondhand. We don't just head to the West Coast Metric catalogue! We've been doing this longer than most, so figure we keep what we need, and keep an eye on what we might need to keep our prices as competitive as possible.

Saturdays are a good day to visit (before noon). Plenty of customers show up to drink our coffee and chat VWs, so please feel free to join in and mingle - see what we're doing for other VW people and decide for yourself. We are much busier in the week, so if you're planning a sticky-beak, please try and make it a Saturday morning, when we've got more time to chat!
We look forward to hearing and seeing you soon!
The Chief.

Hidden inside the modfied engine bay is the evolution of many years worth of research and development in not just 'go power' but also handling, stopping, reliability and air flow management, which makes sure this is one cool bus that stay's cool. It's usually in our workshop and you won't be the first to want to take a peek under the tarp. |
