Janice said after building her beetle many years back and then having to part with it, she needed another fix. But this time a few more conveniances were required, a heater, some electric windows, some power steering and some air conditioning. Now that her situation had changed, she didnt think an early beetle was the right choice now, and you would have to aggree. What a sweet design, the Golf is such a smart design.

Janice rang and told us she had bought herself a 1600 Golf and how happy she was with it, and Im not surprised. We have several customers with 1600 SR Golf's that are very happy with this paticular VW.

Janice said, she is enjoying this Golf as much if not more than her old Beetle, and though she does miss it, the Golf makes up for any memories left behind with the beetle.
