Doc Bowden I Presume??
back

Doc Bowden has a passion for the old and the sweet but the not so slow.. Powered by a Penrose big bore type I motor, IRS'd with an L Bug transaxle, this is not your regular old 66/67 splitter. Keeping up with all the late model traffic on the freeway to and from Sydney’s Blue Mountains were Doc Bowden’s Practice resides.

The brakes and suspension have been up graded front and rear by using later 68/69 bay window front beam with adjusters and disc brake stub axles. This changed the wheel bolt pattern to later bus, 5 X 112 PCD and a larger choose of wheel becomes available, as we can see.

The bus has been well decked out inside, but Doc's not totally happy and has some other ideas, Very functional.

As we can see, this once was a camper, and the windows are its legacy. They hinge from the top and should have a fly screen on the inside. A unique option, I like them.

For a bus its age its a very good specimen. Another special bit with this but, its a change over model, with Euro engine vents and Australian vents up top. Nice touch. Another rare bus back on the road.

The awakening.. its time for some fun isnt it.
