Check this out, rats are okay but Original is pretty special. John scored this bus pretty much "as is" on top.

Its an Ex Armed Forces bus, a people mover in the real sense of the word. Served it term of duty and now has the good life.

I dont think Ive seen anything quite this orginal and in such great condition. We did only a few minor rust repairs before John
asked us to up grade the suspension, brakes, transmission and motor. We installed our Ball joint beam, disc brake front,
IRS rear, adjustable spring plates, wide 5 bolt pattern and an L Bug Box.

John wasnt all that fussed on the idea of a 1600 so a 2ltr was up righted and put into the bus. There is an external oil cooler
mounted under the bus with a thermo fan on it to assist in cooling the oil. John did a Type III a few years back called Ruby.

There are so many really nice features about this bus and it being so original is it best quality. Love the wireless.

Endless Summer, kinda sums up a kombi doesnt it as it looks at its sad cousin in the reflection.
It was a great road test, its high on the list of my favorite buses.
