Ive been everywhere man, you will know this bus from the Telstra Ads, Humble beginnings, put together by one very clever bloke with a great eye for detail, we call him Bundeena Matt.. he's absolutely True Blue.   Bundeena Matt rang me a few years back and told me he'd scored himself a 55 splitter and wanted to restore it. Now Matt was no hot rodder, and didn’t want to really disturb or hurt this old bus, but really wanted to be able to drive it and enjoy it, without hurting it. But that’s almost a hard call with a Vehicle that’s already over 40 years old. So we talked about the benefits of our Bolt on IRS Conversion, and how it doesn’t hurt the bus, yet makes it a heap more drivable.        Not long after that call, Matt called in for an IRS conversion and a few pointers. As you see by the pictures, Matt did all the work himself.       unfortunately, the pictures show you the work carried out, but doesn’t show up all the workmanship nor the attention to detail Matt has put into this bus. Though Matt is not trophy hunter, the bus has picked up its few share of well desired trophies, since its completion in 2002.   Next time this bus is at any show, its well worth spending the time to look over this very well presented restoration.
